Saudi Arabia Engagement

Unlocking Sovereign Capability Through Trusted Industrial Partnerships

Saudi Arabia is investing in one of the most ambitious defense and industrial transformation programs in the world—Vision 2030. With the recent $142 billion defense manufacturing agreement with the United States, announced by President Trump in May 2025, the Kingdom is accelerating its efforts to localize defense production, adopt advanced technologies, and develop a skilled national workforce.

The AUKUS Forum is proud to support this vision—starting with Arkansas as we expand the first ten AUKUS Industry Zones across the United States.

Through our flagship AUKUS Connect program, we provide a platform for collaboration between Saudi partners and AUKUS-aligned innovators across Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

🛠 Why Arkansas Matters

Arkansas is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of U.S. defense manufacturing. Current and upcoming exports to Saudi Arabia include:

  • THAAD missile systems – Lockheed Martin
  • SkyHunter interceptors – RTX
  • Rocket motors – Aerojet Rocketdyne (L3Harris)
  • Ammunition systems – SIG SAUER

The AUKUS Forum is working with partners in Arkansas to support opportunities for Australian and UK companies into these high-impact, export-ready supply chains—enabling global collaboration through secure, sovereign platforms.

🔗 Collaboration Pathways for Saudi Arabia

AUKUS Connect creates structured opportunities to engage with Saudi industry through:

✅ Export-Enabled Supply Chains

  • Join U.S. suppliers supporting Saudi end-use systems
  • Offer advanced materials, tooling, welding systems, or digital integration technologies
  • Participate in supplier showcases and co-development roundtables

✅ Advanced Manufacturing & AI

  • Additive manufacturing for aerospace and undersea components
  • Robotic welding and cyber-secure precision joining
  • Digital twins, AI-driven production, and material traceability.

✅ Workforce Development

  • Focused on aviation, logistics, emergency systems, and smart manufacturing

🚀 Upcoming Initiatives
